I went to a Dutch national park called “De Veluwe”. I was there at the end of the day to catch some late sunlight, on TV some crucial and decisive matches of the Dutch football league were on, so not many people walking in front of the camera

Weather was great today, so decided to go to the woods and expected to see at least some signs of spring there. Well, no, not really, but that was maybe even better to capture the still bare twigs in black and white.
Tried my new lens out in the woods, and yes, this is maybe not the most obvious environment to use this kind of lens, but still, some nice ideas popped up while being there. Soon a trip to open fields and some architecture photography is on the to do list, later more:)
A kind of lens I’ve wanted a long time already is an ultrawide lens. Finally I’ve found one, a Sigma 8-16 mm, looks great, good reviews, first impressions are very promising. Still playing around with it. Will soon test it thoroughly and publish the results here.
For now, what picture to post with this blog, as I don’t have a proper picture to post here yet, now one made with another lens at 16 mm. By the time I have some photos made with this lens, I will update this blog.
Good, good to have time again to pick up one of my favourite hobbies, photography.
First things first so I decided to revamp this site, and for now, add mainly older content, some new additions but lots of new stuff will follow in the coming time.
Just glad I can start again:)
